People always talk about how the Mini, 500, little Citroens and Peugeots are huge when compared to their predecessors but what I really want to see is a P38 and current Range Rover or 190e and new C-Class size comparison

I dont think the difference between a P38 and current range would be so striking. Even a county LWB classic vs current. Maybe an old 2 door convertible range vs current would be more of a difference

The old 500 is a very nice looking car and I would want to one someday. The bloated version doesn't raise any buying intentions in me.

yeah, the presence is totally different. I have a friend with a 78 or so 2 door, stick, convertible Range and that thing does feel puny though!
